Customs sucks at this point. I'm working on it though. Justins gun barely arrived yesterdat and it was ordered the same time yours was. In fact i wasn't even able to sign for it because i wasn't 21. New firearm laws in England dictated that it had to be shipped as a "handgun".
I'll let you know as soon as i know something.

Since it enters the country as a "handgun" (based upon U.K. laws) it must go through Customs and through shipping as a "handgun" until it is signed for by someone over 21 from the receiving party (same as buying a handgun). Once it is received and opened, it reverts back to U.S. laws in which it is an 'air-rifle' (i.e. paintball gun, pellet gun, etc. in which anyone can have one but a person must be at least 18 to purchase it). I believe this is the jist of it.
